TH NEQAS for Precision Molecular Pathology currently provides proficiency testing programs that cover a range of critical biomarkers for the targeted therapy of lung, colorectal, breast, and ovarian cancers with targeted therapies. In 2025, we are also introducing a proficiency testing program for non-invasive prenatal testing.

The proficiency testing programs provided by TH NEQAS incorporate unique features tailored to address clinical challenges. The proficiency testing samples distributed to participating laboratories each year contain a wide variety of clinically significant molecular abnormalities. These samples also include molecular abnormalities at low fractions to help laboratories evaluate the analytical sensitivity of their assays. Furthermore, the turnaround time for analysis and reporting is limited to closely simulate a real-world clinical laboratory service. This ensures a laboratory's readiness to deliver high-quality, timely patient care.
